We’ve told you how Pa’lais is great for humans, both because it’s so tasty and because it has great health benefits, but here’s the bit where we explain why it’s a “planet-friendly food”. The old way of getting the creamy products we love involves a lot of things we don’t love. Dairy production needs a lot of land, a lot of water, and a lot of animals who would much rather be doing other things. It also produces tons of greenhouse gases. By making Pa’lais out of plants, we use less land and water, produce fewer emissions, and we don’t bother any cows. These are the main reasons Pa’lais exists: to give you an alternative that is delicious and made entirely from plants. Healthier for you and healthier for the planet.

It all began
with just two guys in a plant kitchen

Laurent is a vegan gourmet and Kevin is a chef who specialises in plant-based cuisine. After turning to plant-based diets, they realised that nobody was making non-dairy alternatives that were not only natural and healthy, but also tasty and creamy. So they rolled up their sleeves and decided to create their own alternatives. Alternatives that were every bit as delicious and made entirely from plants. After a lot of work and experiments, they blended classic cheese-making techniques with plant-based ingredients. Pa’lais was born!
