Pa’lais Cuisine Shiitake Sauce

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220° on conventional heat.
Step 2
Mix the sweet potato cubes with rice oil, pepper, coarse sea salt and cumin. Divide over a small baking tray and bake for 12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 3
Fry the mushrooms in a pan with oil over medium heat. Once they are browned, add the garlic. Cook the garlic for another two minutes. Place in a bowl and set aside.
Step 4
In the same pan, fry the pulled seitan in some oil until golden brown. Place in a bowl and set aside.
Step 5
Wipe the pan clean with paper towels and cook the wraps for a few seconds on each side.
Step 6
Meanwhile, heat the Pa’lais Cuisine – Shiitake Sauce in a saucepan.
Step 7
Divide the vegetables and the seitan over the wraps. Spoon some Shiitake sauce over it and finish with red onion and flat-leaf parsley.
Step 8
Season generously with pepper and coarse sea salt.
Tip 1
Also nice and spicy with some chili flakes on top.
Tip 2
Make it extra nutritious with a handful of arugula.
Pa’lais Cuisine Shiitake Sauce
Ingredients
200 grams sweet potato, in small cubes
1/2 tsp cumin powder
250 grams mushrooms, sliced
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 package pulled seitan, seasoned (175 grams)
4 small or medium wraps
1 jar of Pa’lais Cuisine – Shiitake Sauce
1 small red onion, sliced
A few leaves of flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped
Rice oil, black pepper and coarse sea salt
