Pesto Croque Monsieur with sundried tomatoes and artichokes

Pesto Croque Monsieur with sundried tomatoes and artichokes

Step 1

Heat a croque monsieur or panini set.

Step 2

Divide the Pa’lais Garlic & Fine Herbs between two slices of bread.

Step 3

Place the sun dried tomatoes and artichoke slices on top of the spread. Cover with a handful of spinach. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Spread the pesto on the last two slices of bread and top with the spinach.

Step 5

Bake the croques until crisp and golden brown. Serve with the salad.

Tip

Also delicious with black olives and a handful of fresh basil in each croque.

Pa’lais Garlic & Fine Herbs

Ingredients

4 slices of (gluten free) bread

1/2 cup Pa’lais Garlic & Fine Herbs

3 tbsp sun dried tomatoes, drained and chopped

3 tbsp artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

2 handfuls of spinach, rinsed

2 tbsp of pesto (homemade or from the refrigerated section)

Black pepper & sea salt

Serve with a salad, olive oil and balsamic vinegar
