Pa’lais Cuisine Bechamel

Step 1
Heat some olive oil in a casserole dish over medium heat. Fry the onion until translucent. Add the garlic along with the vegetables. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
Step 2
Add thyme and bay leaf and season well with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add the broth, along with the Pa’lais Cuisine – Bechamel, stir well and simmer under cover for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 4
Fry the plant-based salmon Fillets in a pan with olive oil for a few minutes.
Step 5
Cut the plant-based salmon into pieces and add to the stew, along with the dill. Taste and season.
Step 6
Simmer under cover for a few more minutes so the flavors spread.
Tip 1
Deglaze the vegetables with a splash of white wine before adding the broth.
Tip 2
Cook the potatoes directly in the stew. Add a little extra broth to do this.
Tip 3
Serve with boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes.
Pa’lais Cuisine Bechamel
Ingredients
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, pressed
1 large carrot, cut into slices
2 stalks green celery, in pieces
1/2 stalk leek, in half rings
2 fresh sprigs of thyme or 1 tsp dried thyme
2 bay leaves
500 ml vegetable stock
1 pot of Pa’lais Cuisine – Bechamel
2 portions of plant-based salmon
A few sprigs of dill, coarsely chopped
Olive oil, pepper and salt
