Step 1
Grill the slices of bread until golden brown.
Step 2
Roast the almond flakes in a pan without fat until golden brown.
Step 3
Mix the Spread Nature with one and a half spoons of maple syrup and a teaspoon of lemon zest.
Step 4
Taste and add more maple or lemon zest to taste. Save some lemon zest for the finishing touch.
Step 5
Spread the toast generously with the spread. Arrange the strawberries on top and sprinkle with fresh herbs and almond flakes.
Step 6
Finish with a few stripes of balsamic cream and the rest of the lemon zest.
Tip 1
Also delicious with nectarine wedges.

Replace the sourdough bread with vegan brioche bread.

2 thick slices of sourdough bread
A handful of almond flakes
1 jar of Pa’lais Nature
1.5 tbsp maple syrup + extra
Zest of 1 lemon
Two handfuls of strawberries, sliced
A few leaves of basil and mint, chopped
Balsamic cream
