Pa’lais Cuisine Pasta Sauce
30m
Step 1
Bring two cooking pots of salted water to a boil (see tip).
Step 2
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick pan, over medium heat.
Step 3
Fry the onion in the olive oil until crisp and golden brown. This will take about 10 minutes. Season with salt. Remove from pan and set aside.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook the peas and broccoli for 3 to 4 minutes in one pot, and the pasta in the other pot.
Step 5
Fry the tempeh “bacon” until golden brown and crispy in the same pan as the onion, in some olive oil. Season with a pinch of smoked paprika powder, pepper and salt. Taste and season to taste.
Step 6
Drain the pasta and vegetables. Put them together in a saucepan and mix in the Pa’lais Cuisine – Pasta Sauce. Then, stir in the tempeh “bacon” and season well with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Divide the pasta between two to three plates. As a finishing touch, add the fried onions.
Tip 1
If the pasta has the same cooking time as the broccoli and peas, you can cook everything together in one cooking pot.
Tip 2
Replace some of the pasta with zucchini noodles for an extra green and healthy pasta.
