Pa’lais Cuisine Pasta Sauce

Step 1
Cook the pasta shells al dente in salted water. Keep a cup of cooking liquid. Rinse the pasta under cold water.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Step 3
Sauté the shallot until translucent in a large pan with olive oil, over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until the garlic browns.
Step 4
Add the spinach, along with a pinch of nutmeg and a dash of cooking liquid if necessary. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Stir three spoonfuls of Pa’lais Cuisine – Pasta Sauce into the spinach, along with half of the vegan mozzarella. Taste and season. Add some cooking liquid if necessary.
Step 6
Spread the rest of the Pasta Sauce over the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each pasta shell with a spoonful of the spinach-vegan cheese mixture. Place the pasta in the baking dish and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella.
Step 7
Place in the oven for 15 minutes until when the pasta and sauce are warm. Then place under the grill for a few minutes until when the cheese turns golden brown.
Tip 1
Feel free to replace the vegan mozzarella with another grated vegan cheese.
Tip 2
Replace the spinach with sautéed zucchini leeks, or eggplant bell pepper cubes.

Ingredients
20 large pasta shells
2 shallots, chopped
1 clove of garlic, pressed
300 grams spinach, rinsed and torn
Pinch of nutmeg
1 jar Pa’lais Cuisine – Pasta Sauce
100 grams grated vegan mozzarella
Olive oil, pepper and salt
Serve with a rocket salad and tomatoes
